Stellamaris Chorwira, General Manager
Homelink Investments and Money Transfers
Prior to her appointment, Mrs Chorwira was Head
of Analysis & Assessments in the Reserve Bank
of Zimbabwe Exchange Control Division.
She has 15 years experience with the Reserve Bank
of Zimbabwe. She joined Exchange Control in 1990
as an analyst and rose to the position of senior
analyst before moving to the Financial Markets Department
as a Disbursement Officer. A year later she joined
the Apex Unit as a Senior Project Analyst and was
involved in the setting up of new systems in the
unit.
Mrs Chorwira rejoined Exchange Control in 2002 as
Head of Analysis & Assessment, responsible for
foreign exchange payments.
She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration
(Banking & Finance) from the University of Wales
in Bangor & Manchester Business School. She
is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute
of Secretaries and of the Institute of Bankers.
She and her husband, Mugove, have three children.
