Mr Walter Chidakwa
Mr Chidakwa is General Manager of the Zimbabwe Export Processing Zones Authority.

He has held this position since 1996, prior to which he spent three years with the Zimbabwe Investment Centre as Assistant Director in the Centre's Marketing and Investor Services Departments. Between 1990 and 1993 he was a Senior Economist in the Ministry of Finance Structural Adjustment Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tel One, Vice- Chairman of the Cold Storage Company and a member of the council of the Midlands State University.

Mr Chidakwa holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters degree in Political Economy from the Academy of Social Sciences and Social Management in Sofia, Bulgaria. He holds a Diploma in National Economic Management from the same academy. He also studied the Management of Export Processing Zones during the '90s at Shannon in Ireland.
