Mr Michael Bimha
Mr Bimha is the Group Human Resources Manager for SMM Holdings. He boasts a wealth of experience in the Human Resource field amassed over the past 20 years. Mr Bimha has worked for various institutions including Tanganda Tea Company and Anglo American. He is the former President of the Institute of Personnel Management (IPMZ) and is the current President of the Employers Confederation of Zimbabwe (EMCOZ).

His excellence in Human Resource Management earned him the coveted Human Resources Practitioner of the Year award in 2002. Mr Bimha sits on several boards, including 5 (five) companies listed on the Stock Exchange. He sits on 2 (two) parastatal boards namely NSSA and ARDA.

Moreover, he is on the Advisory Board for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe on the Auction Floor. Not only is he a board member of several companies, Mr Bimha is also involved in community service. He is on the board of Emerald Hill Children's Home and is the Chairman of Chikomba Development Programme.

Amongst his numerous responsibilities, Mr Bimha is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe as well as Nottingham University (a British Programme being conducted through Open Learning Centre). Mr Bimha holds a Bachelor of Administration and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe.

He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Personnel Management of Zimbabwe and holds a Diploma in Personnel Management. Furthermore, he holds a Diploma in Local Government Authority.
He is married with 3 children.
